1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, and using PeePal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
No Account Required: PeePal operates without requiring you to create an account or provide personal information. These terms apply to all users of the app.
Age Requirement: PeePal is intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, please do not use this app.
Continued Use: Your continued use of PeePal after any changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: PeePal is Not a Medical Device
PeePal is a wellness tracking application and is NOT a medical device.
What PeePal Is:
✅ A wellness tracking tool for monitoring your hydration and bathroom habits
✅ An educational resource providing general information about urinary health
✅ A pattern detection tool to help you understand your personal health trends
✅ A reporting tool to generate summaries you can share with your doctor
What PeePal is NOT:
❌ Not a medical device — not regulated by the MHRA or FDA
❌ Not a diagnostic tool — cannot diagnose medical conditions
❌ Not a treatment — cannot treat, cure, or prevent any disease
❌ Not a replacement for medical advice from qualified healthcare professionals
❌ Not suitable for medical emergencies — call 999 or 111 for urgent medical help
No Medical Advice
PeePal does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. All information, insights, and educational content within the app are for general informational purposes only.
The health guides and educational materials are based on publicly available health information and research. They are not tailored to your specific medical situation and should not be considered personalised medical advice.
Always Consult a Healthcare Professional
You must consult a qualified healthcare professional:
- Before making any medical decisions based on data tracked in PeePal
- If you experience concerning symptoms such as:
- Blood in your urine (even once)
- Severe pain or burning during urination
- Sudden inability to urinate (urinary retention)
- Fever along with urinary symptoms (possible infection)
- Significant changes in urination patterns
- Persistent or worsening symptoms
- Before starting or stopping any medications based on insights from the app
- If you have pre-existing medical conditions affecting your urinary system
- For interpretation of your health patterns and symptoms
Medical Emergencies
In a medical emergency:
- Call 999 immediately for life-threatening emergencies
- Call 111 for urgent medical advice (NHS 111 in the UK)
- Go to A&E if you cannot get through to emergency services
Do not rely on PeePal for urgent medical guidance or emergency situations.
No Professional Relationship
Using PeePal does not create any professional healthcare relationship, including:
- No doctor-patient relationship
- No healthcare provider-patient relationship
- No medical supervision or monitoring
- No duty of care on our part
We are a technology company providing a wellness tracking tool, not healthcare professionals providing medical services.
Limitations of Automated Insights
Pattern detection is not diagnosis:
- PeePal uses algorithms to detect patterns in your tracking data
- These patterns are observational only and do not constitute medical diagnosis
- Many factors affect urinary health that the app cannot measure
- Correlation does not imply causation
- Medical conditions can present differently in different individuals
Accuracy limitations:
- Manual tracking depends on your accurate data entry
- The app cannot verify the accuracy of your self-reported data
- Insights are based on population averages and may not apply to you individually
Your Responsibility
By using PeePal, you acknowledge and accept that:
- You are responsible for your own health and medical care
- You will seek professional medical advice when appropriate
- You understand the limitations of automated wellness tracking
- You will not rely solely on PeePal for health-related decisions
- You will not delay seeking medical care because of information from the app
